Who writes this blog?

Why, it’s Chef Keem! (It’s me. But on a page like this you’re supposed to write in the third person. Why? So you can gush about your achievements without blushing. That’s why. ) Here goes…

Chef Keem was born and raised in Munich, Germany. After a successful career as a songwriter and record producer, he emigrated to the States in 1981, got married and became a chef.

In 2004, Chef Keem created AGASWEET brand flavored agave nectar. By 2007, AGASWEET was sold at Whole Foods and other fine retailers across the country. Amazon.com has recently added this fine product to their grocery department. The process of bringing all flavors to Amazon, and to create nice sales pages with pictures…has been slow. As of June 2010, they’ve sold out of Vanilla but they do have more Almond in stock. Hopefully, this situation will be rectified soon.

What’s really important for you to know, is that Chef Keem has worked with agave nectar for a long time. Over 6 years of sales at farmers markets have given Chef Keem a wealth of customer feedback. Not only from diabetics, but also from regular, health-conscious folks who like it sweet but don’t like refined sugar or artificial sweeteners. Weekly return customers over so many years – now that’s an endorsement!
